Second and third class went on a maths trail around the school playground. They investigated
2d and 3d shapes in the environment. Using meter tapes they completed a worksheet on length. They worked on problem solving and estimated first.

We will rock you
On the 18th of October 6th class went to the Dean Crowe Theatre to watch Athlone Community College's new musical we will Rock you. Three parents kindly volunteered to bring the sixth class to the musical. The musical was set in the future where music was dead and hippies tried to bring it back. The songs were mostly Queen songs and we all really enjoyed it.

Welcome to our new 6th class blog
Welcome to our new Brideswell School News blog. This blog will be written and updated by the children in sixth class. The children will photograph and gather news and events from the classes in our school. We hope you enjoy our class blog.
